health and fitness

Yesterday we introduced our plan to lead a Healthier Lifestyle, and we kicked it off nicely with  a delicious smoothie recipe made by my lovely boyfriend Arua! (He used to be a cocktail maker so his choice of fruits & flavours is freakin’ awesome!!) On our way to the gym we picked up a whole bunch of fruits to work with this week and it all came to R$13 which is around… 4.50Euro!! Awesome right?? health 002So yesterday Arua took the challenge to make something extra yummy! :) And he called it ‘Strawberry Limits’ ! What does it take to make this Smoothie? health 016

  • Sugar, Spice and Everything nice! (Any Powerpuff Girls Fans out there?)
  • But seriously, 10 STRAWBERRIES
  • QUATER OF A LIME (Just for juice)
  • HALF AN ORANGE (just for juice)
  • ONE SPOON OF SUGAR
  • 100ML OF ICE (or cold water if you do not have ice)
  • A BLENDER

Step by Step:

  1. Slice the strawberries in half, and put them in the blender
  2. Squeeze the juice from the orange into the blender
  3. Squeeze the juice from the lime into the blender
  4. Put 1 spoon of sugar into the blender
  5. Put 100ml of Ice (or cold water if you dont have ice) into the blender
  6. Blend that baby up!!

It’s THAT simple folks! :) Then you have a seriously kick ass, refreshing, fruity drink to enjoy! Give it a shot and let me know what you think – I’d love to hear what your opinions are on Arua’s Creation :)

I loved it, I hope you do too! health 046
