52 Photos That Will Make You Want To Cruise Around The Mediterranean*

I’ve got a BIG blog post coming up soon with every single bit of information that you need to plan, book and enjoy a trip with Princess Cruises, but for now I wanted to let the photos do the talking! If you weren’t already convinced to sail around the Mediterranean, I know you will be by the time you finish this post ;-)

I suppose we should start with the ship itself. I had no idea what to expect before embarking on this once in a lifetime adventure with Princess Cruises, and I certainly couldn’t have predicted just how enormous the ship was going to be! Here are some of my favourite spots from the 17 different floors on board…

Can we take a moment to appreciate the fact that there is complete Spa, Gym and outdoor Cinema on board, but if that doesn’t excite you… maybe the Champagne Fountain is more your style?

One of the highlights of the Princess Cruise for me was the huge selection of food on board. If you’re hungry, you might want to scroll down to the next section!

As much as I wanted to stay on board the cruise for the entire 7 day trip, getting to explore 5 different stops along the Mediterranean was a dream come true! There are no words to describe how surreal it feels to wake up in a new destination every day. Can you imagine sipping on a glass of wine in a vineyard in Provence one day, and delving into the local Italian cuisine in Cinque Terra the next day. Take a look at some of the spectacular day trips we took with Princess Cruises from Gibraltar, right down the European coastline to Pisa!

First stop… Barcelona!

After strolling through the busy streets of Barcelona city centre, we arrived at the Foodie Experience cookery school – a stunning gastro space right in the heart of the city, owned by two of kindest Spanish sisters! Their aim was to give us the most authentic experience and show us how to create the local cuisine, the real way.

Next stop was Gibraltar, where we decided to work off all of the buffet food with a trek to the top of ‘The Rock’. I had no idea that Gibraltar was British territory for the past 300 years. Not only do the citizens have British passports, but they also use Pounds and have tick British accents too! You learn something new everyday :-P

When it comes to food and wine, I honestly believe there is no better place in the world than Provence, France. If you don’t believe me, you’re just going to have to go on this cruise and find out for yourself!

The area is famous for it’s vineyards & world class restaurants, so when I heard that we were going to be dining in the michellin star

If you have an Instagram account, you’ve probably stumbled upon thousands of photos of our next Princess Cruise stop…  Cinque Terra is every photographers dream. Located in the mountains of Italy, 3-4 hours away from Genoa, the brightly coloured towns attracted millions of visitors each year. It’s not hard to see why!

Our final cruise stop took us to Pisa, Italy – where we got the opportunity to explore the city by segway (childhood dreams coming true)! In comparison to many other parts of Italy, I was surprised to find that the general price of food and drink was very affordable, even in the most touristic areas.

I was lucky enough to be invited on this cruise with 7 other incredible content creators, whose photographs make me wish I could go back and do it all over again right now!
